The country's healthcare staff are worn out and many regions expect that the spread of infection may worsen in the coming weeks.

Nevertheless, the Swedish Public Health Agency is therefore opening up for a certain audience to be allowed at the all-Swedish premiere in a month '- unless the infection situation worsens.

- We have responded to a referral from the government that if the situation is acceptable in mid-April, we can imagine small volumes when it comes to audiences.

We have said 100 people in football stadiums and 50 people sitting indoors at cultural events, under infection-proof conditions, says the Swedish Public Health Agency's director general Johan Carlsson in Aktuellt.

At the same time, you say that it is important to keep in mind that people must not relax and ignore the restrictions.

Are you not afraid that this sends a contradictory signal?

- No, I do not think so, we are talking about very small volumes.

We estimate that this spring it will be possible to accommodate 100 people in a large football arena.

If the situation becomes very strained, we are in a different situation, then this will hardly be relevant.

Theaters can admit 50 people

Johan Carlsson points to some signs of lightening when it comes to the infection situation, including in Skåne.

- If we see this continue for another month, we could also have audiences at cultural events, in churches and in other sports, he says.

Could there be theater performances in a month?

- Yes, if the situation looks good then it is not completely impossible, if the government wants it.

But then we're talking about 50 people in a big hall, so it's still very scattered.

It is important to open slowly and we want to start on a modest scale.
