Nackenheim (dpa / lrs) - A man was attacked and seriously injured with a knife by unknown perpetrators in Nackenheim in the Mainz-Bingen district on Tuesday.
A police spokesman referred in the evening to a report from “boostyourcity.de”, but gave no further information on details “for tactical reasons of investigation”.
The online newspaper reported, citing testimony from witnesses, that several unknown perpetrators drove a car to the scene and attacked the victim.
They also stabbed the man with a knife.
The perpetrators are fleeting, they are currently being sought, said the police spokesman.
More information could only be released this Wednesday in consultation with the Mainz public prosecutor's office.
