They also discussed practical issues of further strengthening the traditionally friendly Russian-Lebanese relations, in particular, promoting mutually beneficial trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation.
Earlier, Lavrov held telephone talks with the Prime Minister of Tunisia Hisham Mashishi.
