Gommern (dpa / sa) - A 57-year-old driver was killed in a head-on collision on a country road near Gommern (Jerichower Land district).
A 24-year-old got his car on the wrong side of the street on Monday evening for an unexplained cause and crashed head-on into the man's car, the police said.
Both men were trapped in their cars after the accident.
The 57-year-old died at the accident site.
The 24-year-old was seriously injured and his passenger was slightly injured in the hospital.
