Pforzen (dpa / lby) - A fire in a biogas plant in Pforzen (Ostallgäu district) has caused an estimated property damage of half a million euros.
The fire broke out on Monday evening in the boiler room of the plant, which belongs to an agricultural operation, said a police spokesman.
The barn in which the heating system was located burned out.
At the moment everything points to a technical defect, said the police spokesman.
The cause of the fire has not yet been finally clarified.
