Paderborn (dpa) - Against a geriatric nurse who is said to have sexually abused a defenseless senior citizen, the trial before the regional court begins today, Tuesday (9:00 a.m.) in Paderborn.
The indictment accuses the man of abusing the woman on a night shift in her room in a senior citizen center in early 2020.
Due to the illness, the victim was not sufficiently responsive and also not capable of physical and verbal resistance.
The defendant from Brakel in the Höxter district was reportedly employed as a geriatric nurse in the senior citizen center from September 2003 to January 9, 2020.
The crime was reported to have taken place a week before he left.
The nurse is said to have exposed himself and abused the woman.
The next hearing is due to take place a week later.
