According to the data of operational processing of the Altai-Sayan branch, the epicenter of the earthquake that occurred at 22:57 Moscow time on Monday had coordinates 49.65 degrees north latitude and 96.35 degrees east longitude.

The epicenter was located about 25 km from the border with Russia.

Earlier it was reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred off the coast of Indonesia.
