Kiel (dpa / lno) - Due to positive corona tests, daycare centers on Sylt and in Bad Segeberg have been closed.

According to the municipality, a total of eleven supervisors tested positive in rapid tests in the Sylt daycare center and in the old secondary school in Westerland, as the municipal administration announced.

None of them show symptoms.

Both facilities were closed for the rest of the week.

The results of the rapid tests are to be checked with PCR tests.

The Segeberg district temporarily closed the Evangelical Lutheran Kindergarten and the Südstadt crèche in Bad Segeberg on Tuesday due to a corona outbreak.

At the end of last week, five employees had positive rapid test results, which were confirmed with PCR tests.

Two other employees and two children also tested positive.

Around 90 employees from five care groups are currently in quarantine.

On February 22nd, daycare centers in large parts of Schleswig-Holstein switched from emergency operation to regular operation under corona conditions, including in the districts of North Friesland and Segeberg.
