Hamburg (dpa) - With the extended exhibition "Georges Braque -

Dance of Forms", the Hamburg Bucerius Art Forum reopened on Tuesday after a month-long Corona break.

The exhibition was originally supposed to end in January, but has now been extended to April 30, as the museum announced.

Museum tickets must be purchased online in advance and for certain time slots.

In addition, visitors must wear a medical mask.

The lenders of the originals - the Center Pompidou in Paris as well as the Hamburger Kunsthalle, the Hamburg State and University Library, the Collection Winter in Paris and two private collections - made the extension possible with their consent.

The show opened on October 30th - shortly before the second lockdown.

For the first time in Germany, it shows the French artist's painterly oeuvre comprehensively - from his early Fauvist work to the development of Cubism to the last, almost abstract series of the post-war period.

Braque (1882-1963) had worked closely with Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) from 1909 and thus co-founded the Cubism style.
