This Tuesday, 19 people suspected of being part of the same narcotics trafficking network in La Savine, a city in the 15th arrondissement of Marseille, were arrested and placed in police custody, indicates the prosecutor of the Republic of Marseille Dominique Laurens in a press release.
"All strata of the network have been identified, the main members arrested and all their storage places have been discovered," said the prosecution.
No less than 445 kg of cannabis, 235 grams of cocaine, 258,100 euros and a shotgun were seized by investigators.
This network which raged in this city of the northern districts was, according to the public prosecutor's office “very organized, one of the very main ones of the Marseille square”.
