According to the new Corona regulation, this is possible in rural districts and urban districts in which the incidence of 100 is not exceeded.

The number indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have contracted the coronavirus in the past seven days.

"We are really happy that things are going again," said the head of the Serengeti Park on the southern edge of the Lüneburg Heath, Fabrizio Sepe.

In the morning, the first visitors drove through the zoo area in their own cars.

Driving with parking buses is also allowed.

Windows, doors and sunroofs must remain in place during the passage.

Mask is compulsory in buses and closed spaces such as toilets.

The amusement park with carousels and rides is closed.

The park recommends buying tickets online to minimize the risk of infection.
