Yemeni army controls new sites west of Taiz

The Yemeni army continues to confront the Houthi militia.

The Yemeni army forces backed by the local resistance continued their advance on the fronts in western Taiz governorate, and were able to control new sites in the Maqbana district, after violent battles against the terrorist Houthi militia, and the forces managed to drop two marches belonging to the Houthi militia, in the Al-Nudud front east of Hazm Al-Jawf.

The commander of the Maqabneh front, Colonel Hamid al-Khalidi, confirmed to “Emirates Today” that the village of “Al-Qash’a” was liberated and that the Houthi supply lines were cut between Maqabneh towards Al-Dakha.

Al-Khulaidi indicated that progress is continuing towards Al-Wazi’iya Directorate, after defeating the militias from all areas of Jabal Al-Hubaishi District, pointing to the quest for contact with the joint forces in eastern Mokha on the western coast.

In Al-Jawf, battles continued on the fronts east of the city of Al-Hazm, the capital of the governorate, while the army and tribes forces thwarted the second attack within two days towards the Al-Nudud area and managed to destroy five Houthi vehicles, and many militia members were killed, including a prominent field commander.

In Marib, battles raged between the Yemeni army forces and the joint forces on the one hand, and the Houthi militia on the other hand, in many locations on the Flag Front, and the forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by the militias towards the road linking Al-Jawf and Marib.
