Offenbach (dpa / lrs) - At the beginning of the week, sun and clouds alternate in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
In Saarland and the Vorderpfalz it will be clear and dry on Monday morning, while dense clouds and precipitation are expected in the north of Rhineland-Palatinate.
As the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Monday in Offenbach, the temperatures are between 5 and 9 degrees.
In the mountains, maximum values of up to 4 degrees are possible.
On Tuesday night the clouds thicken.
In the north of Rhineland-Palatinate there can be some sleet or snow with a risk of slippery weather in the second half of the night.
In the morning, according to the DWD forecast, the precipitation quickly turns into rain.
During the day there are still showers, especially around the Westerwald, otherwise it usually stays dry with temperatures between 6 and 10 degrees.
On Wednesday the values rise slightly to 9 to 12 degrees.
Then the sky brightens up every now and then.
