According to him, local residents' protests against illegal armed groups continue on the territory controlled by the Turkish military in Syria.
"In the Sheikh-Akil region in the west of the settlement of Al-Bab, during the dispersal of a protest action by militants, civilians demanding an end to the occupation, 15 people were injured, about ten were arrested," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Earlier in the Syrian province of Aleppo, militants harshly suppressed a rally calling for the withdrawal of pro-Turkish formations, as a result of which five civilians were injured.
