Three reported assault rapes during six months in Umeå - the police: We see no connection "

On October 3, at 04:30, police were ordered to the West in the city of Umeå.

A woman in her 20s states that she was raped at the scene.

Police are cordoning off the area and questioning witnesses. 

On February 13 at 03:30, another rape was reported near the same place. 

- It is about a completed rape, said Peter Lindgren, on-duty preliminary investigation leader at the police, to SVT at the time. 

The police searched with dogs in the area and state that they have secured tracks.

Last week, another woman reported that she had been assaulted by an unknown perpetrator.

The rape is said to have taken place next to the popular leisure area Nydala in Umeå on Tuesday.

The police have conducted a crime scene investigation and held interrogations.

It is stated that there is no connection between the reported rapes.

So far no one has been arrested or suspected of any of the cases.
