Homberg (dpa / lhe) - Three people were injured in a house fire in Homberg (Schwalm-Eder district).
The 41-year-old resident and his 22 and 19-year-old daughters were taken to hospital with respiratory problems, the police said on Monday.
Accordingly, the fire broke out on Sunday afternoon in the cellar of the semi-detached house.
The 41-year-old tried to get into the cellar, but this was not possible due to the smoke.
He therefore called the fire brigade and left the house with his daughters.
According to the police, there was damage of around 20,000 euros.
The cause of the fire was still unclear on Monday.
