Berlin (dpa) - This weekend, the last six tickets for the handball tournament at the Olympic Games in Tokyo will be awarded.

What's the mode like?
There are three tournaments with four teams each.
The top two teams in each tournament will qualify for the Summer Games.

Who will Germany meet?
The DHB selection will face World Cup second Sweden, EURO fourth Slovenia and Africa representative Algeria in Berlin.
When is the game played and where can you watch the games of the DHB selection on TV?

At the start, the German team will meet Sweden on Friday (3:15 p.m.).
ARD broadcasts live.
On Saturday (3:35 p.m.) there will be a duel with Slovenia, the end of the game against Algeria on Sunday (3:45 p.m.).
ZDF shows both encounters live.
Are spectators allowed in the Berlin Max-Schmeling-Halle?
No.
Due to the current Corona situation, the team of national coach Alfred Gislason has to forego support from the ranks.

What are the chances of the DHB selection?
The heaviest chunk is definitely Vice World Champion Sweden.
The Scandinavians, in whose ranks there are twelve Bundesliga legionaries, won their first World Cup medal in 20 years at the finals in Egypt in January.
But Slovenia is also worth paying attention to.
The team of the former Bundesliga coach Ljubomir Vranjes narrowly missed a medal at the European Championship last year and was most recently eliminated from the main round at the World Cup after only one tournament defeat.
Algeria is considered an outsider.
Who else is applying for an Olympic ticket?
At the tournament in Montenegro, the favored third place in the European Championship, Norway, Brazil, Chile and South Korea, are fighting for two places in Tokyo.
The Norwegians were originally intended to host, but due to the current entry and quarantine regulations, the Scandinavians had to forego their home advantage.
In the third elimination, record world champion France will face vice-European champions Croatia, sixth in the European Championship Portugal and Tunisia in their own country.
Which teams have already qualified for the Summer Games?
World champions Denmark, European champions Spain, hosts Japan, Pan-American champions Argentina, Asia representatives Bahrain and Africa champion Egypt are sure to have a place on the grid.
