The moderates in the Blekinge Region are shaken by an internal power struggle, where the chairman of the health and medical care committee Emma Stjernlöf (M) is required to resign from her own party.

Recently, she was also isolated from all internal party work.

SVT Nyheter Blekinge has previously reported that the internal battle has also created divisions within the Alliance and a lack of trust in the regional board chairman Lennarth Förberg (M).

Threatens to dissolve the Alliance

In an internal letter to the Alliance colleagues, Erik Lindborg (KD) now criticizes the Moderates' conflict management and believes that it threatens cooperation within the Alliance - both in the region and the municipalities that want to form an Alliance government.

In his letter, the group leader requests a meeting between the respective district chairmen and the group leaders within the Alliance, to find a common path for continued cooperation.

"If this should prove impossible, it remains to dissolve the Alliance in the Region with the least possible damage to our respective parties," writes Erik Lindborg.

Stjernlöf excluded from meeting

According to information to SVT, Lennarth Förberg and Lars Karlsson, group leaders for the Center Party, have invited the group leaders and the Alliance Group in the health and medical care committee to a meeting on Monday evening.

Emma Stjernlöf is not invited to the meeting, which Erik Lindborg believes will strengthen the division within the group - and announces that he will therefore not attend the meeting.
