Kiel (dpa / lno) - In large parts of Schleswig-Holstein, children and adolescents from the 7th grade can go to schools for alternate classes from next Monday.

"This means that a bit of everyday life begins again for more and more pupils in general education schools," said Education Minister Karin Prien (CDU) on Monday.

Alternating classes from grade 7 are planned from March 15 in Lübeck, Kiel, Neumünster and in the districts of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, Ostholstein, Plön, Pinneberg, North Friesland, Steinburg and Dithmarschen.

It will not be decided until Wednesday how things will continue in the districts of Schleswig-Flensburg, Segeberg, Stormarn and the Duchy of Lauenburg as well as in the city of Flensburg.
