Norderstedt (dpa / lno) - On the first day of business opening in Schleswig-Holstein after weeks of lockdown, numerous Hamburgers also went shopping at their northern neighbor.
In the Norderstedter Herold-Center, for example, there was already lively activity on Monday morning;
a good part of the parking spaces in the multi-storey car park was occupied by cars from Hamburg.
It was much quieter in the fashion outlet in Neumünster and in downtown Kiel.
In Schleswig-Holstein as a pioneer, the shops were allowed to reopen on Monday due to the relatively low number of corona infections.
The shops were only closed in Flensburg - the corona situation there is much more tense than in the rest of the country.
