Car fires are a recurring problem at Planteringen and several residents believe that they have now had enough.

- I have lived here for ten years but now it's time to move, says Haissam Jabaoui.

That car fires are a recurring problem on the Plantation is confirmed by the police and since it is a vulnerable area in category two, it is a priority for the police.

- We work intensively with the various instances of the City of Helsingborg and we conduct business openly and covertly, says Johan Mangbo Municipal Police Helsingborg.

Increased presence

As a result of the weekend's car fires, the police have increased their presence, something that will continue.

- We have increased and will increase the presence even more, we have also requested intervention to a greater extent, says Johan Mangbo.

Preschools and schools among the fires

Three of the car fires took place opposite a preschool, which worries those who move in the area.

- I hope that the children do not feel that this is the reality of the day that you should go to school and see burned cars every day, says Susanne Värgården who works in the area.
