Brunsbüttel (dpa / lno) - A 25-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by a 29-year-old acquaintance in Brunsbüttel during an argument.

The 29-year-old was then seen on Sunday afternoon as he jumped into the water from a canal ferry in Brunsbüttel, the police announced on Monday.

He could be saved.

Because the man had severe cuts on his arms and hands, he was taken to a hospital.

Here he told a nurse that he had stabbed an acquaintance with the knife.

In an apartment, the investigators found the body of the 25-year-old in the evening.

According to initial findings, there had been a fierce fight between the two Iranians, as a result of which the younger man died from his injuries.

The Itzeho homicide commission has started the investigation.

The motive for the act was initially unclear.

Several media had previously reported about it.
