Würzburg (dpa / lby) - After the autopsy of a lifeless man discovered in a Würzburg police cell, the investigators still have no evidence of a crime.
When the body was examined, no clear cause of death was found, the Würzburg public prosecutor announced on Monday.
The investigation continued.
A result will probably only be available in a few weeks.
"So far there is no evidence of third-party debt," it said.
The 36-year-old was found unresponsive in the cell last Wednesday after being detained for about four hours.
According to investigators, a doctor had previously confirmed the man's detention, who later died in a hospital.
There was suspicion of a property crime against the homeless German, which is why he should be brought before a judge on Wednesday morning.
