08 March 2021 A newborn baby died in Greece after only 37 days of life because of Covid-19.
The child had been admitted to the Aglaia Kyriakou Children's Hospital in Athens where he was attached to a respirator.
This is the youngest victim of the Coronavirus in Greece, emphasizes the Hellenic press.
His case was made public last week by the Greek health minister, Vassilis Kikilias, who explained that the little boy was struggling to recover.
During a meeting on the situation of the epidemic in Greece, Kikilias explained: "I have been following daily, since February 19, the state of health of a child of only 24 days, hospitalized in the intensive care unit. He is a small soul, innocent, fighting for life, doctors do what they can and we want everything to go well. "
The whole country is in shock.
