The rescue service was alerted on Monday morning about a boat accident in Stillerydshamnen in Karlshamn.
It turned out to be a large ferry that collided with a small lifeboat.
- The tugboat is located by a barge where dredging work is performed.
During the collision, the ferry hit the entire cabin, so it hangs on the tugboat, says Johan Nilsson at the rescue service in Västra Blekinge.
No one has been injured and no ship is taking in water.
However, the dredging work has stopped as a result of the accident.
- We have left the place now, but will return when the tugboat is to be moved, says Johan Nilsson.
