Hamburg's Office for Occupational Safety and Health has checked more than 800 companies in writing or through unannounced visits for compliance with the corona rules since the home office obligation for companies came into force at the end of January.
Of the around 270 companies visited throughout the city, around 94 percent largely complied with the home office regulations, said a spokesman for the judicial authority of the German Press Agency.
The other companies were asked to take further measures.
No fines were imposed.
This is only possible if a legally binding order is not implemented.

20 percent of the companies could expand home office offers
The written controls of around 550 Hamburg companies, which were supposed to submit supplements to their risk assessment for infection protection during office work and for activities in the home office, were not quite as good.
Almost 95 percent of the companies examined with office activities offered home office.
However, 21 percent of them were asked to consider expanding the offer.
In addition, more than a third of the companies did not have a risk assessment for this area of work and the psychological stress was not considered in more than half of the risk assessments submitted.

The Prime Minister of the federal states and Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) agreed at their most recent round of negotiations on Wednesday that the regulations on home office should be extended until April 30th.
According to this, every company must offer its employees home office if the activities are suitable.
This is to reduce the risk of employees getting infected at work or on the way there.
196 new corona infections in Hamburg
Meanwhile, the number of reported new corona infections in Hamburg rose by 196 on Monday.
That is 26 cases more than on Sunday, but 62 less than on Monday a week ago, as the health authority announced (as of 11.49 a.m.).
The seven-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, fell from 82.6 to 79.3 compared to the previous day.
A week ago this value was 80.3.
According to the information, a total of 53,555 Hamburg residents have been infected with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), 48,300 are now considered recovered.
The number of people who died of or with the virus in Hamburg was unchanged at 1312, according to the RKI.
According to the register of the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine, 91 corona patients were treated in the intensive care units of Hamburg's hospitals on Monday morning, 48 of whom had to be invasively ventilated.
The authority stated the total number of corona patients in the city's hospitals as 243, but as of Friday - more recent figures were not yet available at the beginning of the week.
