Bielefeld (AP) - Arminia Bielefeld's offensive player Sergio Cordova suffered a bruised tooth in the game against Union Berlin.

It is not yet clear whether the 23-year-old Venezuelan will be able to play Werder Bremen on Wednesday (6.30 p.m. / Sky), the Bundesliga club said on Monday.

Cordova was substituted in in the first half of Sunday's game.

He had previously collided with the Berlin professionals Marvin Friedrich and Julian Ryerson.

Bielefeld coach Frank Kramer had said after the game that Cordova was "doing pretty well".

«We have to see how fast it goes.

But you actually play football with your legs, we should be able to do that again - also by Wednesday ».

The East Westphalia are currently on the relegation place.
