Idar-Oberstein (dpa / lrs) - In a fire in a single-family house in Idar-Oberstein (Birkenfeld district), the fire brigade rescued two injured residents from the house.
The severity of the injuries was initially unclear, the police said.
The fire broke out on Sunday afternoon in the Hammerstein district.
Two rescue helicopters were also in use.
The police initially gave no information about the cause of the fire or the amount of damage.
