Torun (AP) - The German indoor champion Max Hess has again won the bronze medal in the triple jump at the European Indoor Championships for athletes in Torun, Poland.
The 24-year-old from Chemnitz landed 17.01 meters behind Alexis Copello from Azerbaijan, who had jumped three centimeters further.
Hess had already finished third in the European Championship in the hall in 2019 and 2017.
European champion was the favored Portuguese Pedro Pablo Pichardo with 17.30 meters.
