Werdau (dpa / sn) - A 52-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car in Werdau (district of Zwickau) and seriously injured.
As the police announced, the man ran on Saturday afternoon with a green light on the crossing at an intersection and was then hit by a car.
Without taking care of the seriously injured person, the person who caused the accident fled.
The 52-year-old was taken to a hospital.
The Zwickau police department is now asking witnesses to help with the investigation.
