Hanover (dpa / lni) - The relaxation of the corona rules agreed by the federal and state governments also apply in Lower Saxony from Monday.
Private meetings are made easier: instead of just one other person, up to five people from two households can meet again.
Children up to and including 14 years of age are not counted, couples count as one household.
In regions where the seven-day rate is below 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants, the daycare centers are also returning to restricted regular operations.
In addition, the shops are allowed to open there for appointment shopping, in schools the compulsory attendance applies again to primary school pupils and graduating classes, museums and zoos are allowed to open with half capacity and mandatory registration, individual sports are allowed under compliance with the contact rules and children up to 14 years are also allowed outside in groups of Exercise for up to 20 people.
The federal and state governments agreed on the scope of these opening steps during the week.
In some areas, such as schools and day-care centers, each country could decide for itself how exactly it wanted to implement the easing.

Although there is a loosening of the situation, a clear relaxation of the infection situation is not yet in sight.
The nationwide seven-day value was recently stable between 60 and 70. Several cities and districts, including the Hanover region, even exceeded the incidence mark of 100 new infections.
Against this background, Vice-Prime Minister Bernd Althusmann (CDU) warned in the state parliament on Friday that the risk of setbacks was not averted.
Whether the steps back to a normal life succeed depends not only on political decisions, but above all on the infection situation.
The vaccinations could not noticeably reduce the number of infections either, said the Minister of Economic Affairs.
This is particularly true for Lower Saxony, because the state is still at the bottom of the table in a nationwide comparison of vaccination progress.
Only a little more than every twentieth Lower Saxony has received the first corona vaccination so far.
Recently, only Saxony-Anhalt and Hesse had a lower rate.
