A study conducted by the British real estate consultancy "Knight Frank" showed that London has become the first city in the world in terms of the number of millionaires living in it, surpassing that of New York.

However, official government figures indicate that more than a quarter of the British capital's population lives in poverty, which experts see as a widening in the class gap between the poor and the rich.

According to the study, there are about 850,000 people, each of whom owns at least one million dollars.

In contrast, 28% of the city’s population and 39% of its children suffer from poverty.

Although the two parties live in the same space, the class gap between them is widening, which foretells of dire consequences that may threaten the social fabric of the city.
