Stuttgart / Berlin (dpa) - The deputy head of the Union parliamentary group, Andreas Jung, calls on his CDU party friend and Baden-Württemberg compatriot Nikolas Löbel in the mask affair to resign his parliamentary mandate immediately and not until the end of August.

Jung is also the head of the Baden-Württemberg regional group in the parliamentary group.
The Mannheim CDU member of the Bundestag Nikolas Löbel had previously announced his early withdrawal from politics in the course of the affair with business with the procurement of corona masks.
Löbel announced on Sunday morning that he would resign from his Bundestag mandate at the end of August and no longer run for the next Bundestag.
