Frankfurt (dpa / lhe) - Despite the largely beautiful weather at the weekend, according to the police, there were hardly any violations of the Corona rules in Hesse.

In Frankfurt, however, several hundred people met to celebrate in a park on Saturday evening.

The police cleared the park at night and recorded several charges, including assault.

In the rest of Hesse, however, the situation was calm.

"The weather was good, there were people on the move, but actually everyone obeyed the rules," said a police spokesman in Fulda on Sunday afternoon.

Apparently the people in Kassel also obeyed the rules.

"There was a little something going on outside, but there were no violations," said a police spokesman.

Also from Darmstadt and Offenbach it was said: "Everything calm."
