Potsdam (dpa / bb) - Over the weekend, the seven-day incidence value in Brandenburg - infections with the coronavirus within a week in 100,000 inhabitants - continued to rise slightly.

On Sunday a value of 63.7 was determined, on Saturday it was 63.1, as the Ministry of Health announced (status: 0 a.m.).

On Sunday a week ago, 63.3 infections were registered in 100,000 residents within seven days.

However, on the weekends there may be late reports from the districts.

Within one day from Saturday to Sunday, 215 new infections were added, and 252 more cases were reported on Saturday.

On Sunday a week ago it was 251.

The development in Brandenburg is still very different: The Oberspreewald-Lausitz district continues to lead with a value of 115.2, followed by Havelland with 98.2.

Frankfurt (Oder) has the lowest value among independent cities with 24.2, followed by Brandenburg an der Havel with 34.6 and Potsdam with 36.6.

Cottbus is in fourth place with 62.2.

Since December, 129,121 Brandenburgers have received an initial vaccination, and around 77,300 have now had the necessary two vaccinations.
