Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - The environmental prize of the Foundation for Environment, Nature and Climate Protection of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, endowed with a total of 10,000 euros, is celebrating its 25th birthday.
The motto of the current competition is “Achieving great things together!” Announced the foundation on Saturday in Magdeburg.
On the occasion of the anniversary, it is about permanent projects that promote environmental, nature and climate protection as well as sustainability issues.
Projects that have been active for at least two years should be honored - follow-up projects included, it said.
In addition to the main prize, special prizes can also be awarded, for example if the activities are particularly exemplary or unique.
Applications for the Environment Prize 2021 can be submitted until May 5th.
The foundation also wants to award an honorary prize to those who have volunteered for many years.
