March 07, 2021 Israel reopens.

Starting today, as determined by the government late yesterday evening, much of the economic activity, including restaurants, cafes, schools (in some areas with low infection rates), cultural events, tourist attractions and catering in hotels, will be of new in operation.

The Ben Gurion airport will also implement a partial reopening, allowing from the next few hours - without any necessary authorization from the authorities - the return of 3 thousand Israelis a day and the quarantine for the non-immunized will be at home.

With nearly 5 million Israelis vaccinated with at least one dose (3,800,000 even with the second) and a number of cases under control, the restrictions have therefore relaxed.

The decisive element is the "green pass" (double immunization or recovery from the virus) which allows owners to access a greater number of services than those who still have to obtain it.

For example, the restaurants will be able to accommodate up to 75% of their capacity of patrons with green passes indoors and up to 100 outdoors, even if obviously spaced.

For event halls, cultural and otherwise, the percentage is 50% and up to 300 people with green pass: in addition, 5% of individuals with a recent negative buffer can enter.

Newly opened - almost in the same way - the reception rooms of the hotels (and the structures themselves) for the holders of the Green pass.

The same for places of worship with precise rules.

However, the health authorities have not ruled out new restrictions for the Passover holiday (end of March).
