The mayor of Corleone Nicolò Nicolosi announced, through the Facebook page of the Municipality, that he had summoned the council for tomorrow morning to present his resignation. The decision follows the controversy raised by the investigation of the Nas carabinieri who reported to the Termini Imerese Public Prosecutor's Office that the mayor and the councilors of his council had vaccinated themselves against Covid 19 in mid-February, although not falling within the categories established by the law. Nicolosi defended himself by claiming that "the mayor is the health authority of the territory: for this I got the vaccine, also warning the president Musumeci".
