China: record increase in exports at the start of 2021

According to Chinese customs, overseas exports jumped just over 60% year-on-year in January-February.
This increase is less significant if we take into account the fact that exports mainly caught up with the drop they suffered in February 2020 at the time of the outbreak of the pandemic.
Be that as it may, Chinese exports have benefited since last spring from strong global demand for medical products and computer equipment for
teleworking.
And despite
the trade war
started by Donald Trump, China's trade surplus with the United States has doubled in one year.
American stimulus plans to support household income and consumption are therefore benefiting Chinese products.
If the Middle Empire is the first country to be affected by the pandemic at the end of 2019, its economy has very quickly returned to growth.
China experienced positive growth last year and is aiming for an increase in its GDP of at least 6% this year, enough to envy Western countries currently in a deep recession.
