Police arrested an American woman in her thirties who stole from an Asian-run store in the United States and spit while making racist remarks to Asians.
Police in Mountain View, California, say Karen Inman, a woman in her 30s, was arrested on charges of being involved in two crimes targeting Asians.
The arrested woman is accused of stealing groceries and clothing from a store in downtown Mountain View on the 13th of last month.
According to police, the woman insisted that she did not have to pay because the store owner was of Asian descent at the time.
The arrested woman is also accused of screaming at two other guests, including Asians, at a restaurant at the same time, making racist remarks and spitting.
