That is 44 cases more than on Sunday a week ago, as the health authority announced (as of 12 p.m.).
232 new infections were reported on Saturday.
On Sunday and Monday, the number of infections usually goes down compared to the previous days, because there is generally less testing on the weekend.
The seven-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, rose from 80.2 to 82.6 compared to the previous day.
A week ago this value was 78.2.

The number of people who died from or with the virus in Hamburg rose by 6 to 1,312, according to the RKI.
