Al-Ahly wasted two valuable points in its struggle to rise to the knockout stage of the African Champions League soccer championship, after a 2-2 draw with its guest, Vita Club, the Congolese Democratic Republic, on Saturday in the third round of the first group matches of the continental competition, which witnessed the draw between Al-Merrikh Al-Sudani and its guest Simba Tanzanian without Goals.

In Group Three, Morocco's Wydad Casablanca maintained its brilliant start in the group stage after it scored a precious two-goal unanswered victory over its guest Horia Conakry in the third round, which also saw the South African Kaizer Chiefs win by the same score over its guest Pietro Atlético of Angola.
