The rape is said to have taken place on Tuesday evening near the 4H farm, just north of Nydalasjön.
The police received the report on Thursday evening and went out late on Friday looking for witness information.
"The police would like to have observations in the area between 20.00 and 21.00 on Tuesday evening.

No connections to Strandpromenaden
So far, no one has been arrested or suspected in the case.
The police have conducted a crime scene investigation and held interrogations and currently see no connection to the previously reported rapes at Strandpromenaden in Umeå.
