Sergio Mattarella visits the "Nuvola" vaccination center in Rome

• Mattarella: Italy grateful to those on the front line, investing in the health system

March 06, 2021 Morning visit by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, to the vaccination center set up at the Nuvola di Fuksas at Eur.

Accompanying the Head of State in the visit of about half an hour was the governor of Lazio Nicola Zingaretti.

Also present were the architect Massimiliano Fuksas and his wife, co-designer. 

Mattarella visited the waiting room, the Triage room, the one for the administration of vaccines, for the post-vaccination wait and, finally, the space dedicated to the issue of the vaccination certificate.

In addition to Zingaretti, Fuksas and his wife Doriana, also the CEO of Eur Spa Antonio Rosati, the Lazio Health Councilor Alessio D'Amato, the CEO of As Rm2 Fori Degrassi were present.

President Mattarella complimented the organization and efficiency of the center.

"Today we welcomed President Mattarella to the Nuvola di Fuksas which houses one of the largest centers for administering anti Covid vaccines in Italy. Thank you for this act of sensitivity and closeness to the operators of the health care of Lazio involved in the great vaccination campaign in this symbolic place of Italy, where up to 4 thousand administrations can be reached per day. With the other vaccination centers it is a real factory of hope ".
