Berlin (dpa / bb) - The outgoing district mayor of the Berlin district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Monika Herrmann (Greens), is leaving the district office with a good feeling.

"It is true that I personally, but also as the district office, have written a bit of history for this city," said Herrmann of the "Berliner Morgenpost" (Saturday), looking back on seven years in office.

She referred, for example, to family support through a large number of family centers and the integration of people with foreign roots.

The problems with drug dealers in Görlitzer Park have therefore not been resolved.

But the police are responsible for this.

Herrmann is running for the House of Representatives in September.
