The Boeing airliner 737 Max, which was banned for 20 months due to a series of crash, was recently lifted and made an emergency landing due to engine failure.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), an American Airlines airliner of the Boeing 737 Max departing from Miami and heading for New Jersey on the 5th local time made an emergency landing with one engine shut down.

The captain of the airliner determined that there was a mechanical problem with the aircraft at the time and took such action, and reported an emergency after arriving at the destination Newark Airport in New Jersey with all of his own.

It was confirmed that all 95 passengers and 6 crew members in the airliner were safe.

The airline said the issue could be related to the engine oil pressure or the volume level, and said it was not a problem with the automatic stall prevention system related to a crash in the past.

Earlier, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration completely stopped operating the aircraft after Indonesia's Ryanair and Ethiopian Airlines' Boeing 737 Max crashed. "Sometimes there may be mechanical problems on board."

American Airlines was the first airline to resume flights of the Boeing 737 Max in the United States shortly after flight was permitted.
