The Swedish Public Health Agency issued an updated recommendation on 25 February regarding visits to homes for the elderly, and these apply to Gotland.
- When a person who has been vaccinated receives a visit inside their apartment, there are no recommendations for mouth protection or distance, says Mårten Åström, medically responsible nurse at the social administration, in a statement on Region Gotland's website.
However, it is still important that visitors follow the recommendations, as not everyone in a home may be vaccinated.
