Augsburg (dpa / lby) - Almost two weeks after a knife attack in an Augsburg park, the police arrested the alleged perpetrator on Friday.

The 21-year-old is said to have stabbed three young people between the ages of 18 and 18, with two of the victims suffering stab wounds and having to be treated in hospital.

However, there was no mortal danger.

On February 22nd, an argument between several dozen young people is said to have broken out in the park.

Initially, however, it was not possible to determine who was responsible for the stab wounds.

The public prosecutor's office has obtained an arrest warrant for attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm, according to the previous investigations against the 21-year-old.

The man has now been arrested by the police in his apartment in Augsburg.
