During the night towards Friday, at 02.40, the police were alerted to an apartment in Solberga in southern Stockholm.
The police are silent about what caused the conversation, but in the apartment the patrol found a seriously injured man in his 70s.
The police arrested two people who were in the apartment and forensic technicians were called.
Later on Friday, the police announced that the man had died from his injuries and that relatives had been notified.
- We have released one of the people we arrested in the morning.
The other has been arrested on suspicion of murder, says Per Fahlström at the police command center.
