20.01 on Thursday evening, the Uppsala police received information that shots had been fired a couple of miles east of Uppsala.
- Since we then did not know what it was about, the national task force was involved, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, press spokesperson at the central region.
The purpose of the shooting is unclear, but no injuries have been reported.
The police blocked off and made a house search at an address.
According to the police, several weapons were found in the home, among other things.

Suspected of serious gun crime
At 21.55, three people were arrested on suspicion of a serious gun crime.
Prosecutors later decided to arrest the people.
The police are so far quite reluctant with information about the incident and do not want to say more about the seizures, if it is suspected that it was planned for other crimes or if the people are known to the police from before.
The arrest went smoothly, according to the police.
